Getting started
Do I need to hire someone or spend a lot of my time to enter all the data or get set up?
Absolutely not. We import data from a variety of sources, such as payroll, spreadsheets and word documents, or have a template we can provide you. When you receive S2ConsoleTM or S2Web CorporateTM it is already set up for your use. Set Up and Population are included with your purchase.
Learning Curve
How long does it take to learn your safety management software?
On average, training is 2 hours. We conduct training online, break the two hours into sessions, and we use your data to teach. People of varying computer skill levels use our software. Each module operates the same way so; once you learn how to use one module the rest is a snap. Training is included with your purchase.
Installation
Do I need an IT or computer person to install?
The software is downloaded and takes about 20 minutes to install. Many stand-alone installations or laptop installs are done by the client. Most clients that have network servers either have in-house IT departments or outsource network experts. Either way we are always available to assist or perform the installation completely. Installation is included with your purchase.
New Computer/Network
What if I get a new computer or network?
We will reinstall the software and move all your information over. Installation is included with your purchase.
Company Growth
I bought a stand-alone and due to growth, I now need a network version or web based product?
Use our Trade-Up Program. We will credit the original purchase and apply it to your new purchase.
Requirement Changes
What if regulations or our safety requirements change?
Upgrades will be issued twice a year (spring & fall) to ensure your system is in keeping with technological advances, regulation and requirement changes, and requests from clients for new features or functions.
Upgrades
How do you handle upgrades?
Upgrades are issued in the spring and fall. If we have a request more than 3 times we will put in as a requested enhancement. Prior to release of the upgrade, we ask all of our clients for their wish list. We combine new technology with the enhancement suggestions from our clients and roll it into the next version. Upgrades are covered by AMF.
Customization
Can you customize S2ConsoleTM?
Yes we can customize. Most of our clients have not needed customization as our products are very flexible and they customize it themselves. Occasionally we have created custom forms, functions and features.
Security
Some information can be private or sensitive, how do I keep it confidential?
We divide the company’s people into groups and allow them certain rights to certain things. Security is included with your purchase.
Annual Fees
What are the annual costs?
Annual maintenance fees (AMF) are 18% of license fees and cover training, unlimited telephone and email support, installations, and upgrades as well as qualify you for the trade-up program and discounts on consulting rates for customization.
